Best atv/utv tires? Help!

atv shops will rip you off $$
I picked up some tires for my rihno at discount tire for half the cost. They have worked out very well. I use my rihno for work and the tires see lots of sage brush and abuse. Sorry I cant remember the name of the tires but there a semi aggressive tire but real smooth on the pavement. They have also lasted a long time

I like the Big Horns. Pretty tough all around tire. Oh and I would never ride a atv . If anyone on this site asks. :)

8 ply remember that when buying the next ones 8 ply. I always put 8s on mine and have yet to rip up a sidewall, i ride in some rocky terrain. I've had good luck with the Grim Reapers, the bighorns are good, i don't like them on a side hill in the snow but i think that is the only draw back to them. takes forever to wear them out it seems. 8 ply

3 outa 4 6 Ply tires in a 100 Miles?

JFP!

I used to know of places worth Hiking in to for Elk & Deer!
Thanks to Illegal Bastards & the USFS not enforcing Rules you can Zing in to them Places on Wheelers now & not see a Damn thing!
But by GAWD it don't take long for them U-Tards to get there with all the Unethical BS and the New Technology!

Flat tires not being helpful is the idea. Had a bad experience with a jackass in a razor. I wasn't fond of utv/atvs before. Now I absolutely hate them. mtmuley

I have been really happy with my maxxis bighorn's. Buy the original bighorn's and not the newer version which are the 2.0 model which are marketed as a lighter weight tire. They are lighter because they don't have as much rubber on them. I found the best deal was to order the tires from http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/ . I then took the tires and my rhino to discount tire and they mounted them for me for a couple bucks.

I thought a 6 ply would last a little longer too..
