My boys had some luck in northern Utah this past Saturday. My 12 year old was lucky enough to have his mom draw a moose tag for the area we hunt each year and because of the new youth mentor program he was able to get tag in his name too. We have been looking at moose all summer and a few weeks ago he said he was in moose mode. One look at this one and he said that is a great moose dad I would like to go after that one. He made a great shot right behind the shoulder not bad for his first big game animal. After we had packed the moose out we decided to go look for some goats for my 14 year old he drew tag for same area. He got lucky when someone turned there tag in and he was next in line. We found the one we thought was the best and he put a quick stock on him. What a day this will be hard to beat.
