best digital cam for digiscoping?

I just got my new Swarovski 80HD with camera adapter fittings and was curious if any of you have recommendations for a light weight digital cam that would work well with this set up. I want a camera that already has the screw adapter recepticle on the camera so I don't have to purchase an adapter by the camera manufacturer as well. I am not looking for anything real high end or bulky. I want to be able to pack it around fairly easy and get some decent field shots during my scouting trips so I can review them at home later.
