I used Hi-Country brand dry cure but there are many others. After dry cure is complete put about 1 cup dark corn syrup per 6 pounds of jerky then smoke in a smoker with hickory chips. I promise you will be thanking me, unless you don't like some sweetness in your jerky. After all, we all have different tastes.
