I put in for a new hams elk hunt in an area I know ok, not great but have been in the unit a few times and it's close to home, knew it wasn't worth a bunch of points but figured if me and my dad could draw it with 6 it would be worth the points. There was guys burning 17 on it, blew me away because I know that unit ain't worth that. Took 10 to be guaranteed, don't think I would have burned that many either. Hell they was planning on making those hunts general season units but the WB shut em down and suggested the hams hunts. Crazy what people will burn that many points on.
