Binocular Tripod Adapter??

Do any of you have a recomendation for a bino tripod adapter? I have 12x50 cabelas Euro binos and want to be able to use them on a tripod more often. I was going to buy the cheaper Vortex one that apparantly will work, but then I saw their universal one that one piece stays mounted on the tripod and one stays mounted on the bino so you can still hike with them without having some piece jabbing into your chest. There are some other ones that look nice like the meopta and swaro, but I would prefer to spend more in the $20-50 range instead of the $100+ range.

Any advice and experience you can share is greatly appreciated.
