I looked through the dnr info and can only find what is a black powder rifle. I was trying to find any restrictions on hunting with a muzzle loader in your state. as far as scopes and powder and bullet restrictions.

i gues I should clean them off better. is there a special black powder hunting season or are you with the rifle hunts.

Wyoming does not have a special muzzle-loader season, however they do have a few muzzle-loading only areas/units.

This is about as much info you will find in deer/antelope/elk regs for rules to follow. this info is directly stated game and fish

As far as I know I don't know any special muzzleloader seasons. You have to follow when rifle season opens. I don't know of any special areas either. But I may be wrong . I have never seen nor looked into it nor heard.

There are a few muzzy only Antelope hunts, Type 8 I believe but nothing for elk/deer that I am aware of....

You can use a scope on a muzzy hunt.

There is actually one deer unit north of Rawlins that is archery or muzzleloader only also. You can use a muzzleloader during any open rifle season for any species, but you must wear your fluorescent orange.
