If the 150 is a ballistic tip I wouldn't use it. I personally shoot the barnes mrx 180 grain for both deer and elk. I've taken two elk and a deer with one shot each. The deer was a 408 yd shot and he didn't make it more than 30 yards. Both elk were 118 yards and didn't go more than 40 yards. BTW the elk were on a cow hunt I took my younger brother on for his first big game hunt. He used my gun, shot his cow and handed it over to me and I shot mine.

The accubond shot well out of my 300 wsm, but the barnes mrx I mentioned above got better grouping. The accubond would be my second choice if I couldn't get the mrx.
