Wow! This guy has some serious issues...... Not such great luck in picking soul mates!

I think there is a great possibility that this Senator has severe problems when it comes to his women. I would not be surprised that this whole matter gets shoved aside and the girlfriend not prosecuted.

If it goes to court, you can bet your bottom dollar that the girlfriend's defense attorney will subpoena the ex-wife and the senator's statement about not being a abusive person will go out the window if she testifies under oath. The only question is how much he will pay her to keep it out of court and private.

Arizona voters need to look at this guy twice when he comes up for re-election.

I think you pretty much nailed it RELH. Looks like the latest news is that he gets to keep his current leadership role in the state senate for now, but 'ethics inquiry' is still pending.

Any voter with a sister or daughter should be revolted by this kind of guy.
