Just submitted the wife's and my application last night. Now the waiting game. Anyone else going for a big tag this year??
I shoot for the moon every year. And always a few that are easier draws too. I was 3 for 34 last year.Just submitted the wife's and my application last night. Now the waiting game. Anyone else going for a big tag this year??
Hang in there! Long shots can pay off- but about 10 % success is still good !I shoot for the moon every year. And always a few that are easier draws too. I was 3 for 34 last year.
Shhhh…. I’m hoping everyone forgetsJust submitted the wife's and my application last night. Now the waiting game. Anyone else going for a big tag this year??
When you say a big tag, are you referencing Sheep/Goat/Moose. All the other tags are going to the highest preference point holders unless you a resident with a true longshot at a hybrid tag.Just submitted the wife's and my application last night. A limited draw tag. "Big" as in not your every day tag. 10+ point tagWhen you say a big tag, are you referencing Sheep/Goat/Moose. All the other tags are going to the highest preference point holders unless you a resident with a true longshot at a hybrid tag.
Same situation I am in. Burning 13 this year for a really nice hunt and then doing 1-3pp units.Think I will burn my 10 elk points this year on undisclosed unit. Not big on elk hunting but don't need any more, want to burn them before I get so many that I have to try and "make the most of them." Then I will be hunting 1 or 2 pt units every other year.
Not officially yet, as far as I know they'll finalize/approve rules at the May meeting and go to 75/25 across the board, effective 2024.Burning 14 deer pts this year, then looking to hunt CO more often. Will be burning elk pts in the next couple years.
Anyone know if the new 80/20 split units are going to 75/25?
