Looks like CO raised prices this year. Non-Resident elk is now $546 plus $3 application fee. When does it ever stop for a few years.. Heck, they just raised them from $495 to $525 last year or the year before. WTF?
I can't tell you if they raised them for residents but most of them probably don't care if they did. They are only $46. They'd probably rather see less non-residents anyway. But that would decrease their revenue if we didn't come.
In the midwest, non-res pay about 4-6 times what residents do... not 12 times... But when your nuts are in a vise, you'd do anything to have them released, right? We pay it.

By regulation, non-resident rates in Colorado are set according to the CPI each year. Remember that the price actually was lowered a couple of years ago. I imagine you will see a decrease next year as well, if the economy continues to tank.

I wouldn't mind seeing resident fees adjusted annually. I think it is a bargain right now, but I'm sure that I'm in the minority.
