CO taxidermy show June 5th...

The Colorado State Taxidermy Association is having its annual show June 3-5, at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds, near Salida, CO.

Show is open to the public on Saturday the 5th, from 10-3:00. Great place to check out some mounts from taxidermists from CO, NM, UT, WY, and other surrounding states.

Thanks for letting us know about the taxi show. How many taxidermists usually attend the annual show ?

Not sure how many different taxis attended, but last year we had over 70 pieces, and the year before I think we broke 100. Hard to say this year, since it is a different location.

Last two years we were up in Craig, so we drew in a lot of taxis from WY and UT.

Thanks for posting up some pictures. That was a great show !

You should have included more pictures of your pedestal buck. You did a great job on him, very unique and challenging. Your mount deserved the first place ribbon that was hanging on him.
