Colorado Archery Deer?

I would like to take my dad on an archery deer hunt in the next couple years on the west side of colorado and was wondering what units would provide a fun hunt with a lot of public access? I am not looking for trophy or difficult to draw areas. Just looking for something with good opportunity.

Wow. A lot of hunts fit that bill. You just need to check the proclamation and choose a hunt that seems to suit you. Or at least do enough research to narrow your question down a little to specific units. Many hunts require 0-1 points to draw so if you put in for only points this year, you're almost certain to draw a good tag next year. And the great thing about Colorado is that you could see some real pigs in about any unit. I know this doesn't give any specifics, but nothing can replace just digging in and doing your own research because you know what you want. Good luck!
