Colorado unit 551

How would you rate the terrain in unit 551. TagHub has it rated a 3/5 but I find sometimes they are way off. I'll be hunting with my dad 75 years young and mom said to bring him home in 1 piece.

The area I hunted was very steep and tough terrain. This was just past Monarach Pass. Can't speak for the entire unit. Didn't see a single sign of life either lol.

That rating seems like a strange way to gauge the steepness or whatever of the terrain.

That rating is weird. Also google earth is full of crap tons of guys get their butts kicked and say well it didn't look that bad on google earth

You are also at high altitude! Can be heavily forested in places that have not burned recently. We tend to stick to the burns and more open country at the highest points of that unit.
