I'm new to muzzloaders - so take this for what its worth.
Bought that model from Cabelas last year(50 cal, 26" barrel, 209)
Drew a cow elk tag (muzzleloader)
Spent maybe 8 hours at the range (3 trips)
Open sights 4-5" groups at 150 yd
110 grains - Hornady Sabot (the Barnes Xs wouldn't load well - really tight - had to really pound them down the barrel)
Third day of hunt tipped a cow over at 124 yd on the rangefinder
Went through the top of both shoulders - exit hole the size of my thumb. She never twitched.
No malfuntions, no problems, ramrod a little loose, cleaning a snap after pulling bolt. Like the rifle a lot, however, its the only one Ive ever shot.
