Deer Unit 21 Third Season

Hey Guys -

I know this is a popular tag and a lot of other mm'ers have a 21 tag this year. I drew third season as a resident and would appreciate any advice from others that have hunted it in the past.

It is a new unit for me. Helping a friend on a mountain goat hunt early October and am kind of limited on scouting time. But, I do plan to hunt the whole season.

Hey Guys - Thanks for the responses and PM's. I really appreciate it and will be getting in touch with everyone very soon.

The deer draw summary is on the CDOW website now.

I actually drew 2nd season (been scatter brained lately). I drew with 5 points, but could have drawn with 3. Personally I am surprised it did not take more with the later dates.

Did not want to wait for 3rd season, thought it would be a good year to draw 2nd and am getting off the point collecting band wagon.

3rd season was interesting. You were a lock with 11 points or more and 43 applicants with 10 points were fighting over 33 tags. So - if you did not draw with 10, you were kind of unlucky.
