My youngest filled both his tags on public grounds, one a mature bird 24lbs gutted, 8"beard and 3/4" spurs. His second was a jake. I bagged one with an 8" inch beard and 1" spurs, also on public grounds. My partner in the photo with my son called the big bird in, I called in the second one for him. My bird didn't want to play the call game. We played with him all morning, he won. I got lucky and was able to put the sneak on him a bit later.

Those are a couple of great birds, congrats to you and your son. Wish we could have a general season not just a control hunt. Having 2 tags would be great
