Electric game calls for bear in Ca

I am trying to look through California regs to see if it is legal to use electronic game calls for bear. I don't think it is but would like to get some confirmation. If any one can shed some light on this I would appreciate it.

No, they are illegal to use in California to hunt big game. Basically they can be used only for coyote, bobcats, crows, and starlings. Believe it or not, but you can not use them for calling fox. If interested read the California Fish & Game Code, Division 4, Article 1 section 3012. Along with the fish & game regulations chapter 6 section 475(b). Hope this helps.
