LAST EDITED ON Apr-15-12 AT 09:04PM (MST)[p]I bet not may of you have gone fishing and and ended up coming home with elk. Well a coworker of mines brother inlaw did. He was out ice fishing this past winter. While using his underwater camera he saw something that looked like a an elk rack.
These are the pictures from when it was in the water.
They spent two hours drilling holes in the ice to get them out.
Fresh out of the water. Using underwater camera to take these pictures.
These are pictures after the rack had dried out for a day or two. They are going to have them dated by a guy here in Minnesota that dated a rack that was found a few years back. I have not hear from this coworker as to what or if they had found anything out. When he first sent me the pictures he was told that they are between 150 and 200 years old. Hope you guys like the pictures.
