What's the longest eye guard on a mule deer shed you got? I found a nice four pointer the other day and measured the guard. Over 3 inches...

I don't have any sheds, but the two bucks below hanging on my wall have some impressive brow tines. The one on the right & in the 2nd photo is an AZ Coues deer. Both BTs are over 5". The one on the left is a TX buck. Both BTs are over 6" and also fork.

Not to change the thread however,
Appears whitetails typically have longer overall brow tines than muleys?
Your respective thoughts?

No not even close. Mule deer have eyeguards. Whitetails have browtines.
 
I have found hundreds of big mule deer and whitetail sheds.
Mule deer average two and half to three inches, whitetails are five to six inches.
It is not uncommon for mule deer to not have brow tines, very rare for a whitetail.
