GMU 142 Pinon Canyon for Deer

I was holding out for a deer tag in this area, but the warden told me that this is a tough area to hunt and most people come out disappointed. Love to hear from someone that has hunted this area in the last couple of years.

Alot of people still put in for this tag. With the incease in Army activity now days it is a terrible choice. This hunt has been going down hill for years.

Wanted to say to, that even if you draw the tag you might not be able to hunt. Depending on what kind of training they are doing on the base.
