Leaving from Reno near the end of the month...figure to stop off in Northern CA and do a few sets/reps with Joey, drop off some unused viagra to eelgrass, but, really, what else is there to do between Reno and darn near Canada?

I'll stop off in Portland and see the guy who makes my suppressors, but that's all we got planned, besides picking up the dog in darn near Canada.

Any other suggestions?

Compromise, hell! ... If freedom is right and tyranny is wrong, why should those who believe in freedom treat it as if it were a roll of bologna to be bartered a slice at a time?

LAST EDITED ON Mar-23-12 AT 04:58PM (MST)[p]First off how you going, that is which road or highway? You mentioned Reno so are you flying or driving?
Only a suggestion on my part but if driving up take Hwy 97 out of Weed, CA and drive up through Oregon that way...very nice in summer. Stopped by the NOSLER FACTORY IN BEND. When you get to WA drive up to Yakima on Hwy 97 and stay on 97 till you get to Jct 2 & 97 and turn left and go to LEAVENWORTH, Wa. It is a beautiful town that was restored years ago after a fire and it looks just like a small town in the Swiss Alps with the Mtns around there. If you have time and want to spend the night there camping, look for and go out to the ICICLE RIVER RANCH CAMPGROUNDS.......IT IS GREAT. The wife and I have camped there twice back in the 80's. Stay on Hwy 2 and it takes you back through the mountains to north of Seattle.
Have fun and watch out for deer on the roadways and out of Leavenworth for sheep/goats.
NOTE: Almost forgot the one thing we liked about the town of Leavenworth....the fresh smell of COFFEE AND PASTRY'S EVERY MORNING FROM ALL THE SHOPS IN TOWN.

Driving all the way, mostly up 80. Been to Weed before...

The Nosler factory sounds cool, thanks.

If you do take Kilo's advice I would take the Yakima/Ellensburg Canyon rd north into Ellensburg. There are quite a few Bighorn sheep in that canyon. The road follows the river for around 30 miles. Great looking country. During the summer you might get to see some ladies floating the river!! I then would head to Leavenworth on 97 and over on HWY 2 like he said. Not much to look at on I 5.
