Handicapped Parking.....

Today I had to go to Sears. As I approached the entrance, I noticed a driver looking for a parking space.

I flagged the driver and pointed out a handicap parking space that was open and available.

The driver looked puzzled, rolled down her window and said, "I'm not handicapped!"

Well, as you can imagine, my face was red!

"Oh, I'm sorry" I said. "I saw your Obama bumper sticker and just assumed that you suffer from a mental disorder."

She gave me the finger and screamed some nasty names at me.

Boy! Some people don't appreciate it when you're just trying to help them out!

I know this breaks the meaning of this post , but it got me to thinking.

Recently at the grocery store, I noticed a very fit young woman, wearing a tennis outfit, park in the handicaped parking spot.

I was watching a man in a walker making his way to the store, when I noticed he was limping along between cars.

I hurried my way over to him and asked if he was ok. He assured me he was fine ,just had a bit of work to do. When I saw what he was doing he just smiled and said bit#h.

He had KEYED the womans car, from front to rear.

Sometimes, the old folks can still warm our hearts.
