Need a GPS and don't have a clue which one to get. Don?t want anything fancy. Just something basic that will get me back from where I started. Any advice on brands and model numbers would be appreciated.
Thanks

Garmen 60CS..very good reception, easy to use.

Garmen Etrex is cheaper, has good reception also. lots of different features ie Colored screens, compass, altimeter, ect ect You can kind of pick and choose what features you want.

Thanks Nochawk,
I'll check them out. Don't care about special features. Just want it to point me back from where I came from. :) Is the difference between the 60s and Etrex the features? I'm going to be using it on a self guided hunt in Alaska. Reception is very important.
Thanks

+ 1 garmin knows there stuff, and they range from the simple up to the really fancy............

I have a garmin legend and love it. It's the old black and white version and I honestly wish it would die so I can buy another gamin legend in the colored HCX version. Works great adn easy to use. Can't go wrong with Garmin.
