Hip Quivers

I tried it a couple years ago. Although it was nice to get the weight off of the bow, I found it bothersome to have the quiver on my hip. Instead of just dealing with the bow during a stalk, I now had to deal with two separate items.
If i ever get a designated target bow, it will accompany it. Just my .02

Raptor Archery makes a great hip quiver. It is slung over a shoulder, not worn on a belt. It is quiet and easy to control when moving through cover.

I bought one cuz Chuck Adams uses one. Tried it on a couple of hunts and it seems very awkward. Regular walking motion makes my arm hit it frequently and so I am holding one arm out to the side all day while walking.

Check out Alpines soft-loc quivers. You can get the one mounted on your bow, then get a hip quiver from Alpine that has the same mounting bracket as the bow and the capability to back and forth depending on what you want. I tried one last year and liked this set up.
