Rowdy is 5, Sam is 4 1/2. Both are Walkers, Rowdy has a bit of Redtick in him. I'd be glad to run them in the field for anyone. Rowdy has been on probably 75 bear trees (CA) and 25-30 lion trees both in CA and CO. Sam has only been on a half dozen bears and about 25 lions. They are both excellent on coons as that is what I run them on in the summer. They've both been on hundreds of coon trees and either would do well in a competition however, I've never entered either of them. I've been asked by several houndsmen if they could enter them, but I've never done it. Both are tree climbers. Sam is without a doubt one of the loudest hounds you will ever hear in the woods. They are both about average nosed dogs, neither being hot or cold nosed. I road my dogs a lot and will be glad to road either of them through a herd of deer or elk. Neither are trash runners. Rowdy turns to a chop on the tree, Sam usually stays with a Bawl but occasionally chops (depends if he can see whats up there!) Both are stone silent around the house. Both in excellent health with all shots and worming up to date. Both have microchips installed. I'd like $1000 for each, I think they are probably worth much more.
