How many points do I have?

Right now I have 6 points for deer. When I apply this year will I go into the drawing with 6 points or 7 points. ( do they add the next point on before or after the draw? ).
 
They your points on after the draw so you will trying to draw with 6 and is unsuccessful you will 7 for next years draw
