Humphries/Rio Chama WMA

I drew the second rifle hunt and was curious if someone could lend some helpful advice. I have been told that the Humphries is dificult to hunt without a horse because elk will be located deep into the WMA. Is there a outfitter with animals or packer around Chama that could be recommended. Any local knowledge help with my homework would be greatly appreciated.

pm me for some info. i guided right next to the humphries for 9 yrs. i sent some friends in a couple times who had the tag and they killed decent bulls. and they were only a mile or 2 in.
