I have had 2 pairs of Asolo Fugitive boots, and loved both of them. The area I hunt is straight up and down, and they are flexable enough to be very comfortable even with a 4 day pack on. The heel cup saves you from a lot of blisters. That being said, I don't like them on flat ground when I have a pack on. I can feel every rock. So I went to the Sassalong boot, which is much stiffer, and has a vibram sole. I put 20+ miles on them last year before the hunt to break them in. I hunted with them for 5 days and they were very comfortable. Still a bit stiff for the uphill climbs, but they got better as the week went along. I am planning to use them this year for early season archery. Once I went to Asolo I have bought nothing else.
Just a heads up, if you watch the sales you can get them on sale around $150-160, and then get the coupon off the back of their mailer each week and it will save you 30%.
