I know there are a lot of similar topics but I don't want to jump in on someone else's thread.
A couple buddies and I are planning a DIY spring bear hunt to Idaho. We're thinking of about a 7 day trip probably to units 10 or 12. We plan to set a couple baits the first day we are there, then spot and stalk hunt as well as checking the baits. I have talked to the biologists in the area and studied maps and think it is doable but could really use some first hand experience. I would really appreciate any input, especially from someone who has hunted the general area (any of northern idaho would be helpful). The trip is slated for mid to somewhat late may, possibly depending on the snow situation.
