Another tag grab and they are being taken out of the nonresident tag pools---sucks!!!

Idaho has always auctioned off a sheep tag, I think the others are new.

This is a heck of a lot better than the 600+ in Utah!


To enhance and sustain the value of Idaho's wildlife, up to
three (3) tags per species per year will be issued for deer, elk and pronghorn
antelope, one (1) tag per year will be issued for moose, and one (1) tag per
species per year may be issued for mountain goat and bighorn sheep.

The commission is meeting this week to discuss wher and how the proceeds for the auction will be distributed and how. I was at the public forum and this was brought up. I was there hoping to get lighted nocks added to the approved archery equipment for Idaho.
