sleigh ride and checking the elk out is pretty cool
ski lodge to hit the slopes

You could head over to Swan Valley and we could tell hunting lies. Should be putting the finishing touches on a little "cabin" about then. mtmuley

Elk aren't much fun to look at in late May.....just sayin ;-)

It's a nice drive over to Swan Valley. Snake River to fish also. I've been over here working for so long I feel like a local. The claim to fame is square ice cream cones. mtmuley

Swan valley is absolutely beautiful, I sure miss living in Idaho Falls and riding through that valley on my Harley!!

Take cash and don't use your credit card. The last time I was there either in Yellowstone or Jackson someone stole my credit card numbers and someone in Texas was trying to use a fake card. This was about three or four weeks after I got home.

Go to the Antler Auction! I'll be their with other friends selling Bone..we have a blast...it's like a 21st century mountain man rendevous

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and climb in the saddle and have few drinks...they might serve you a DEW!

LAST EDITED ON Mar-03-15 AT 06:05PM (MST)[p]Snake River Brewery and Restaurant isn't bad. Granite Creek hot springs if you like bathing with a few hairy hippies. Rent a Subaru and you will fit in just fine no matter where you go.

Get ready for the May 1st opener of shed season like the rest of the F-ers do...get you a big ol' pile of "horns" and stash them up in a tree or under some brush so you can "find" them right @ midnight on the first.

It's funny how many guys can stumble on 50 antlers in the dark in the first 5 minutes.

Second Kilowatt's Million Dollar Cowboy Bar recommendation, although it can be easy to get bucked off there! Also did some whitewater rafting while in JH and had a ball.
