Overall it was an awesome trip, I had a blast and can't wait to go back. I won't be back til early October because we are expecting our second kid in Late July.

Jealous of the sushi. It is the best! If I were a single guy, I'd be jealous of your wife too. Glad you had a good trip. A lot of cool sites over there and the people tend to be exceptionally hospitable.

Salmon eggs in the 4th pic, I will be going back every other month or so starting this winter...(work)
I was in Sendai for a couple days, that's where the Tsunami hit. I didn't have time to see any of the destruction. I was too far inland.
I def married up! But I used to be better looking if I remember right. ;-)
After the sushi over there It will be difficult to eat it here anymore.
Thanks for the congrats on the baby, I'm scared sh!tless to have a little girl. ;-)

I know exactly what you mean about having a little girl. I have a 3 month old girl and a 2 year old girl.

Cool pics but gross food. I cant stand orientel food.
From the looks of the 1 pic, cant blame the guy for snapping pics of the wifes hind end, from the looks of it. I like the pic of Mt Fuji. Very nice.

Yukkk - salmon egg sushi?!!!

I know that Chum (Dog Salmon) are the preferred species for the Japanese market. I work across the street from a hatchery here in Alaska that mass produces chums. The kid used to work on a gillnetter and that was their money fish. Chum never used to be worth anything until keta roe hit the big time. A 5 gal pail of the stuff is worth $250 wholesale to the fisherman.
