"Last minute" cow elk

I realize application deadlines are fast approaching or past. Any ideas suggestions for a cow elk hunt for 2007, over the counter/landowner tags? Anyone have contacts they'd be willing to share? Just looking for a quick trip west, a good hunt and some great meat. Any information appreciated.

Colorado has otc cow tags with a cap for units 25/26, they go on sale I think july 9th,also New Mex drawing is still available or check e-bay theres a couple of cow tags being auctioned, good luck

Utah has some great odds for cow hunts. I don't usually hunt
cow elk but I know a few units that hold a lot of elk and are
relatively easy to draw. Send me a PM and I will try and help
you out.

Cow hunt is the most important hunt of my year. I've got Elk meat for the winter, the rest of the season is bonus.
There's a bunch of decent cow areas, on public, in Wyo.
You'd have to get one during Leftover in July.
I don't hunt Elk on private, feel free to P.M. if that interests you.

Full price in the Leftover, not reduced cow-calf. Gotta be at the respective license-seller starting Aug. 15 to get those OTC.
