I'm just wondering if anyone has insight on the late hunts in Utah. Are some units better than others, especially concerning whether the elk will be on private land? I know its probably a tougher hunt but I think it might be worth a shot.
I had a great time on my late elk hunt. I liked that the bulls were away from the cows and that you could target and glass the bulls over really good. I would say go down right now and start scouting for next year. The bulls should be on their winter range or real close to it come November 11th. I was glad to know where they wintered because about the first part of November I started seeing bulls dropping into the wintering ground this year.
