Late season Book Cliffs tag

I am headed out with my brother to the book cliffs for the late season hunt, He has been waiting a long time for his tag and has never killed an elk. I haven't been on the unit for 5 years, any suggestions of where we should look? Any information will be greatly appreciated! We are going to head out 3 days early for the hunt to do some scouting.

i had premium tag last year. I ended up getting bull on the late hunt. I didn't get a monster, but I can tell ya where I saw several herds of bulls last year. PM me.

Elk numbers are down from years past.

Deer aswell,
Poorest deer since 1995.
