I compared the Leupold HD binos and I was impressed (10x42)

FOR MY eyes they were more crisp than Zeiss Victory, Steiner, and Cabela's top glass. The Swaros SLC and Lecia were better by also come with a price tag of almost $1000 more.

I could not determine if they could be attached to a tripod?

Anybody using the HD with a tripod? If not I will save and get the SLC (10x42).

Thanks

My HD's are fantastic too. I don't have a specific model, but you can't use a screw in type adaptor, it has to be one of those kind that uses heavy duty velcro to attach to the adaptor itself. I've seen one made by one of the big 3 but can't remember which.

zeiss, leica and swarovski all make tripod mounts that will hold your leupolds. look at cameraland and they have the zeiss as a demo for 99. and also have the leica.
