I sent my Binoculars in for repair (the gas came out some how) they said sorry and I got a brand new pair in the mail to day! Can't beat that.
 
i had an eye cup break on my bino's..
could you post the address???
i sure would appreciate it.........

even if they don't i will still buy another pair of em..
 
Last year, I sent in my Leicas and my Nikons (b/u)for similiar issues. Leica charged me $350 to repair and ship. Nikon charge me $15 for same service and shipping.

Friend had similiar issue with Leica.

I continue to hear good things aobut Leupold service.
 
I buy Leupold because it is good glass and I know if I have a problem, they back up their product.

those are not made by leupold but they warrenty them just the same...

afordability n warrenty can't go wrong......

I had some Leupold Cascades that i had screwed up myself, no fault of Leupold,, i was just gonna leave em laying around collecting dust until i got tired of looking at em then toss them out.. i had already gone and bought another pair..
i read this post a few months ago and thought what the heck i will send em in and write a note telling them what i had done, and just asked if they could be fixed, if so fix em and bill me,, if not then just toss em out..
I finaly sent them in about 2 weeks ago and the UPS guy just brought a brand new pair today,, no charge not even for shipping..
yea i would say Leupold Rocks.. and i doubt i will ever buy any other product for my glass needs..
Thanks again i never would have sent them in if not for this post..
 
Yep they rock. I don't even think I would buy any other glass even if I could after dealing with them!

+1 ELKOHUNTER. I'll always buy Leupold. I don't recall ever hearing anything negative about thier products or service.....always positive.

Had the mount hole threads wear/strip out on my 12x40 50mm spotting scope. This is no easy fix. Sent it in and got it nack about ten days later good as new they even replaced the lens in the eyepiece. This scope was 12 years old. Great service....

More of the same....I screwed up a scope. Sent it to Leupold with a request to send an estmate back. I got a new scope.
 
Can't beat Leupold, especially for rifle scopes. Great product, great price, great people there in Beaverton,
Oregon.

Fianlly got around to sending it in to them to see what's wrong. If there is any repair cost at all, I will tell them to chuck it. Can't see spending more dollars on a unit the failed so quickly.

I know they stand behind their scopes and bino's 100+%, but we will see on a rangefinder. Love Leupold for all their other stuff. My pet rifle has a VX II 3x9 on it and my next rifle will have another Leupold a VX III or a VX IV on it.

Great customer service anyway you slice it and so I now agree that Leupold does indeed Rock.

I had a scope of my dads that was bought in the late 80's or early 90's and i put it on an extra rifle I had. Well, I lent the gun to a friend and the scope came back with the glass completly broken out of the scope! I was unsure what to do so I sent it to Leupold with a note telling of what happened and asked for a quote. About one week later I had a brand new scope in hand, I will NEVER by anything but Leupold!

I had a ton of problems with my scope set up when I first got it Leupold was so helpfull. I was in wyoming at the time and the metal of the back ring ripped because of the recoil from the 300RUM the bell size didnt help 56mm. This is what Cabelas set me up with not a good idea to put the cheap rings on a gun with that recoil. They shipped out the different rings thinking that there was just something wronge with the rings. Happened again. They sent me new rings and bases the second time totaly not their fault. More like Cabelas for not putting on the more expensive rings that they dont carry in the store. Anyways they took care of me at no charge to me they even sent me some different scope coveres i will buy Leupold because they take care out the customer after the sale even if it is not their fault for the screw up.
