Few years back my friends treed a cat with their hounds who had killed a full adult male wolf a day previous...the wolf was buried on top of a young cow elk that the wolf tried to steal from the cat. They called game and fish in Idaho at the time, wolf hunting wasnt legal that year, and they were allowed to keep the skull of the wolf. It was a cool find...they weighed to wolf when they found it and he weighed 117 with his insides partially eaten and an entire side of hair licked off....he was a big boy.

i'd rather have lions than wolves. of course i'd rather have neither..... BUT if I had to choose.
