I was out doing a little scouting for tomorrow's muzzy hunt and found a very nice bull. First thing this morning they were sounding off all around. I headed in the direction most of the calls were coming from. I started calling and things heated up pretty good. Lots of tree thrashing going on. I pulled the bull up within a couple hundred yards but we were pegged by one of his cows.
There were two satellite bulls with him, a raghorn 5 and a decent six point bull. There was another bull behind us but never saw him.
I was able to look this bull over for several minutes from different angles and he has it all. Mass, width, long main beams and exceptional tines. He didn't seem week anywhere and I would conservatively guess him at 380+ and wouldn't be surprised if he breaks 400.
So if you know anyone with a pahvant muzzy tag who would like some info, I'll help any do-it-yourselfer with info. But If your name is Mossy it'll cost ya. PM me if you know someone with a tag.
