Looking at deer by Reno

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on where a guy could go around Reno to look at bucks during the rut and winter. I know some of the bucks come into some residential areas but was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I may take a ride later this year to take pictures of some bucks. Thanks

Go down to Genoa, My sister lives across the street from the old courthouse and on any giving day she will have a couple in her yard.

Try the hay fields in Washoe Valley, east of the highway, on East Lake Blvd..

how would a out of towner go about finding a place like this im not from the state but would love to see some bucks thank's the turtle

For deer late fall, winter and early spring, try Mt. Peavine, the area around Verdi,(Cabelas), both to the north and south, and the area above Caughlin Ranch. Find the mahagony and you will find deer.
