LAST EDITED ON Nov-29-11 AT 10:02AM (MST)[p]Fellow hunters-
I have a dilema. The evening before thanksgiving I smacked a big buck right through his front left shoulder when he was broadside. The arrow stopped on the opposite shoulder inside. So it just did not blast through both shoulder blades. Got about 8 inches of penetration. The broad head has busted off inside. I am shooting a grim reaper mechanical. The shot was a hair foward right in the shoulder. He only went a 100 feet and started laying down, an hour later just as light was fading I tried to sneak in on him and put another arrow in him as he was not dead. He ended up following his doe into some thick scrub oak below me and then light faded. To make a long story short I went back the next morning and have searched for him now for four days with no luck. He is around 28 inches wide with a big inline on his right side. He is a 4 X 5. He also has a three to four inch cheater on the right side. My biggest deer to date. Thanks in advance for keeping your eyes open for me! Good luck hunting!
