Man just thinking how many young fawns was saved by that hunt.
What year was it taken.

Cant remember which year this was.

Just got done with a contest in N. AZ, called the "Curtis Cauthen Memorial coyote hunt". Just over 50 teams this year. The family that puts it on donates a large portion of the proceeds to a family that met with a unfortunate incident like they did last year.

This year it went to the family of a DPS officer that was killed earlier this year in AZ. Coincidentally on the same day Curtis was killed.

Theyre trying to get the word out in hopes of getting a better turnout next year. Contest will probably be the last weekend of January of 2011. Come on out!

Lots of coyotes shot this year on this hunt.
