PS. I would think that a good shoe smith or boot repair facility could fix those right up. I had a similar problem with some older Vasque Sundowners. I figured out that I sit with my legs crossed and the top eyelet to the boot on my bottom foot would catch on the seam of the top boot. Once I realized what I was doing, I was able to stop and I haven't had the problem anymore. Good luck! FH
