magellan Triton GPS

Anyone have the new Triton series from Magellan.

"Magellan" in Spanish translates to: "I wish I had a Garmin."

That pretty funny. I have not heard to many good things about magellan, until the new Triton series came out.

bake - To be honest, I know nothing about the Triton. It's just been my experience over alot of years with the handheld gps that the garmin's are alot easier. Maybe someone will come back with actual knowledge of the Triton. good luck

Thanks for the info. The old saying you get what you pay for. Just the price of the Triton gets you thinking, plus the talk about the national geo maps that you can down load.

Do not get this GPS if you own a Mac. At least if you are buying it to be able to download maps from the National Geographic software. It is not compatible with the Mac. I just got off the phone with Magellan and they said you are Sh#t outta luck with a Mac.
