Example...at range, then when you get home? With pyrodex and lead bullets? It seems there are so many variables between powders and projectiles.

With pyrodex - T7 - American Pioneer - Goex black powder, You'll want to use a water based cleaner to kill/remove the corrosive salts in these powders. After you do the water cleaning and dry it, if you had been shooting lead conicals, you can follow up with a product made for that. Dry it again and then use a light coating of oil to keep rust away.
