Moose hunt suggestions

Does anyone have any suggestions on a do it your self or drop camp moose hunt for a group of 4 or 5 guys? We have been elk hunting for the last 10 or so years and are looking for something a little different.I know it cant be done in the lower forty eight but would like some input on alaska and canada.

4 or 5 guys is too many in an area for moose. Sure it can be done but you will be looking for pretty much any bull.

Moose densities are not high like elk so they might only be 1 to 2 bulls in a big area......

Other options would be a float hunt.

Don't believe you can moose hunt in Canada without a guide so Alaska is your only option. There are a number of outfits there that have a drop off/pick up service and the cost depends on the starting location and distance flown.
