A buddy and myself were hunting deer this past weekend on the muzzleloader hunt on the Pahvant range above Elsinore.....on Saturday morning we saw three mountain lions on the opposite hillside and saw nothing but coyote tracks in the snow......no wonder the deer herd in that area hasa gone downhill! Anyone have a mountain lion tag for that area? Go kill those killing machines!
 
Again, it is my belief that the #1 reason for the decline of mule deer populations is the overabundance of cougars and coyotes. Why is the division coveting cougars so-much when so-many people are calling for a mule deer recovery?
