Mounting elk sheds question...

Hey, I have a big set of elk sheds I want to get mounted. How do I do it? I know there are deer shed kits, but never seen elk shed kits. Do you guys have any idea of what I can do? Any info would be great, thanks.

Are you wanting a shoulder mount, or a euro mount.

If its a shoulder mount just take it to your taxidermist They should know what to do.

I am assumeing you want a euro type mount, If thats the case I have seen some elk ones, I think it was slam that had em.

Lets see some pic's of the sheds.

Yes, it's a repro. I bought it from McKenzie. I had to build up the pedicle with aves fix-it and find the right color combo of paint to blend it in.

Yeah vandykes has replica skull that lookd pretty good but if you spend a little time on them and carve them out a little you will get a much better result. i did one a couple years ago and it turned out great
