Moving to Vancounver, WA....HELP!

It looks VERY possible that I will be relocating to the Vancouver area from Central Utah in the next few months. We just spent a few days up there and we really like it.

What are the hunting and fishing opportunities?? We saw tons of Blacktails just driving around. We drove out to Cannon Beach and Seaside and my wife LOVED it. We went on several hikes and loved it.

WE know it rains a lot, but our choice was Dallas TX or Vancouver or Seattle. We are choosing Vancouver. Anyone from around area that could give suggestions??

I think you'll love the west coast. Beautiful country and you can see HunterHarry's and ell's posts on ocean sports, and deer hunting. Washington has lots of outdoor diversity as well, both on the west as well as the eastern half. We won't need to go to Ketchikan for salmon once you find your way around the rivers in Washington and Oregon. You'll do great, just don't get all liberalized on us.

And.......don't forget............... tarpon in June!
